Teleworking in the public sector for Cystic Fibrosis patients

The Joint Ministerial Decision on the provision of teleworking for public employees due to health problems has been published by the Greek Government. According to the Joint Ministerial Decision, those who suffer from Cystic Fibrosis and those who have undergone a solid organ transplant with the use of 2 immunosuppressive drugs, are among the permanent or temporary health problems for which employees may apply for teleworking, if the nature of their duties makes it possible for them to be performed by teleworking.

Teleworking due to health problems cannot exceed a total of 88 days per calendar year, while exceptionally, after a specially justified opinion of the Health Committee, teleworking can be granted for a continuous period of 88 working days.

Here you can read the relevant Official Government decision 5541/27-10-2022 which defines all the diseases, as well as the procedure and the documents required.
