3rd International Physiotherapy Conference

The President of the Hellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association, Dimitris Kontopidis, participated with a speech at the 3rd International Physiotherapy Conference in Thessaloniki on 24-26 April 2015. He discussed the experience of patients with Cystic Fibrosis, highlighting the need to train young physiotherapists in respiratory physiotherapy for patients with the disease, as physiotherapy is perhaps the mainstay of treatment for patients with Cystic Fibrosis. Invited by the Hellenic Association of Physiotherapists, in the round table with Mr. Chanakas (Professor of Pediatrics – Pediatric Pulmonology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and Mrs. Christara (Professor of Physiotherapy TEI) as moderators and Mrs. Ms. Chatziagorou (Lecturer of Pediatrics – Pediatric Pulmonology, AUTH), Ms. Christara, Ms. Papadopoulou (Home Care Nurse) and Ms. Peftoulidou (Home Care Physiotherapist).
