European Cystic Fibrosis Week 15-21 November 2020

Cystic Fibrosis patients are calling for Unlimited Breath by launching their new multi-level campaign as part of European Cystic Fibrosis Week, 15-21 November 2020.

The European Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Week 2020 activities start with the illumination of the Parliament with a double motto:

Breath without Borders
This is the European campaign that sums up the efforts of Cystic Fibrosis patients to achieve equal access without borders in Europe to treatments and health services that will empower their breathing. It was the proposal and initiative of the representative of Greece, Dimitris Kontopidis, as a new member of the Board of Directors of the European CF Europe Association, which aims to contribute by all means to improve the level of care for CF patients in the Balkan countries and in every European country.

Unlimited Breath
It is the second slogan in the Parliament building, expressing the national effort of CF patients in our country on many levels: in the development of lung transplants, in equal and direct access to innovative treatments, in the self-management of the disease and improvement of CF units, and in addressing modern challenges.
