An online meeting with the doctors, Ms Karetsi Eleni and Ms Perlepe Faye, responsible for the adult Cystic Fibrosis clinic at the University General Hospital of Larissa, was held on June 20, 2023 by the Association’s representatives Anna Spinou (President), Konstantina Giannaki (General Secretary), Maro Gounari (Director) and Giannis Spinos (Alternate Board Member).

In the scheduled meeting, the issues concerning the operation of the clinic and the patients attended in the clinic in cooperation with the Cystic Fibrosis Centers in Athens and Thessaloniki were discussed, with the aim of enhancing the possibility of providing specialized care and monitoring of patients in the region closer to their place of residence, while at the same time decongesting the 2 overburdened adult centers in Sismanoglio and Papanikolaou in Thessaloniki.

The Cystic Fibrosis Clinic officially started its operation at the University Hospital of Larissa since November 2022. It operates every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month and appointments can be made through the Outpatient Clinic secretariat at 2413501179.
