✔️ Cystic Fibrosis is the most common geneteic disease in the caucasian popylation and there are about 50,000 patients in Europe.
✔️ In Greece there are 850 CF patients, while it is estimated that the carriers of the disease are over 500,000.
✔️ For two parents who are carriers of the disease, there is 25% chance of having a child with Cystic Fibrosis.
✔️ Although the life expectancy of CF patients was low in previous decades, the innovative treatments change the face of the disease and offer an optimistic future.
