During the European CF Awareness Week 2023 and the its 40th anniversary, the Hellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association created the “Secret Mission: CF”, the first interactive children’s book for Cystic Fibrosis in Greece.

The writing and illustration of the book was undertaken by the famous children’s books author, Liana Denezaki, in collaboration with the CF Scientific Committee and the BOD of HCFA.

The book was created with the kind support of Vertex Pharmaceuticals. It was presented for the first time at the “Cystic Fibrosis: Preparing for the future” conference, on 3d December 2023, at Innovathens Technopolis of City of Athens.

The book is addressed to CF patients, their parents and caregivers, their clinicians and to anyone else who wants to discover Cystic Fibrosis. Through an exciting journey of secret agents, younger and older readers are invited to solve the mystery of the disease and unlock the secrets of Cystic Fibrosis.
