41 Years Panhellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association – New Board of Directors

We are pleased to announce the formation of the newly elected Board of Directors of our Association, which emerged in the recent elections! The Panhellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association is all of us: volunteers, patients, parents, caregivers, relatives and friends! Since 1983, for 41 years, each Board of Directors has been fighting unceasingly for the support of Cystic Fibrosis patients in our country, writing its own special page in the history of the Association. The new Board of Directors, with a sense of responsibility, continues this valuable work, honoring the vision of our Founders, with an emphasis on transparency, inclusiveness and contribution. Aiming at a unified nationwide representation of Cystic Fibrosis patients, the new Board is composed of adult patients and parent-caregivers from the Cystic Fibrosis Centers at the Children’s Hospitals-Agia Sophia, Sismanoglio, Hippokratio and Papanikolaou Hospitals of Thessaloniki, as well as the Attikon Lung Transplant Patient Monitoring Center. The new 7-member Board of Directors, as it came from the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Association on 22/11/2204 and after the formation of the Board, are:

  • President- Anna Spinou
  • Vice President- Konstantina Giannaki
  • Secretary General – George Plala
  • Treasurer- Nadia Proga
  • Rev. Secretary– Christos Bakodimos
  • Rev. Treasurer– Despina Gini
  • Board Member- Marilena Tsentidou

Alternate Board Members are:

  • Melina Tiglianidou
  • Stella Georgaki
  • Maria Paliou

We would like to thank all those who, for 41 years, have supported the Association, recognizing the value of collective effort and participation. Your love and trust are our strength to continue to serve the needs of our community with dedication. The Panhellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association continues to lead the way in supporting Cystic Fibrosis patients in Greece, creating a strong future with “Breathless Breath” for all patients and their families, honoring our rich heritage and creating new opportunities for a better life for all patients.
